Board Election 2023 Results?

Did you vote? Did you? Did you really? Do you want to know if your vote was counted and who it went to? It might not have been counted.

Ballots for the Harvest Creek HOA board election were mailed out and were due back by Friday December 15, 2023.

On Tuesday December 19, 2023 at 12:54pm an email was sent with

The results are as follows:

Hudson Hart: 39

Amanda Keith: 21

Karl Keith: 13

At 3:24pm an email from the management company was sent out:

The Harvest Creek HOA Board of Director voting results have been released by the Harvest Creek attorney.

CJ Cook has won the election for the 2024 Board of Directors at a three-year term.

Thank you for everyone who submitted a bio and took time to cast a ballot. We are happy to have had a good turn out for the voting.

At the time the management company sent out the email declaring a winner of a 3 year term, messages from candidates and board members were circulating asking why votes were missing. How can someone be voted onto the board without a quorum or the existing board appointing them?

Even after the final count was tallied, one of the candidate's vote was still missing. Only after 2 days of saying the vote was missing, was it finally located.

How many more ballots are unaccounted for?

We have since confirmed that of the votes they have found or are willing to show us, this is the latest vote count:

CJ Cook: 55

Hudson Hart: 42

Amanda Keith: 21

Karl Keith: 14

You will notice from the results that the HOA did not have a quorum to officially elect someone to the board for a 3 year term, nor does it match the results that they released or used to declare a winner. Because of this, the "board" is suppose to appoint someone to temporarily fill the position until the next annual meeting. As of today, the board has yet to meet or appoint someone. Again, no one was elected to a 3 year term.
