Saddle Peak Board vote email

Recently Saddle Peak sent out an email to the HOA

The Harvest Creek HOA Board of Director voting results have been released by the Harvest Creek attorney.

CJ Cook has won the election for the 2024 Board of Directors at a three-year term.

This however is not the case. Due to the fact that the Attorney has yet to release the full results, we only have preliminary facts. As of now only 127 votes were received. This is not enough for a quorum. If a quorum is not reached then the vote does not count, resulting in no one winning the board position.

When this happens, the remaining board member should appoint someone to fill the vacancy. As was stated numerous times by the boards attorney Alanah Griffith at the annual meeting, she recommends the board appoint the candidate with the most votes. Preliminary results currently show this to be CJ Cook.

The big difference between being elected with a quorum and being appointed by the board is the length of your term. If you are elected you are elected to a 3 year term. If you are appointed by the board you only serve until the next annual meeting.
